He is dedicated to pursuing justice for victims, witnesses, and survivors of crime and takes great pride in his role. As an Assistant District Attorney, he focuses solely on criminal prosecutions and oversees all District Court trials for cases originating in the City of Wilmington. His caseload primarily includes domestic violence, firearms offenses, and DWI cases. He also supervises substance abuse treatment courts, including creating the Veterans’ Treatment Court in New Hanover County. On average, he leads as the first-chair attorney in around a dozen weekly cases, making him an experienced prosecutor.

Currently, Brooke plays for the New York Wolves of the Women's Football Alliance. Her team, the New York Wolves, just won the D2 National Championship. In addition to her athletic accomplishments, Brooke is also a senior student at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York. She is pursuing a bachelor's degree in digital and interactive marketing.
